About CONVeX
In today's technologically advanced world, many people record and transcribe important conversations, online meetings, video conferences, and phone calls. Oftentimes multiple people are speaking simultaneously in these scenarios.
We all know that the meeting is not an easy thing to handle. While you must record what is said, you must also pay attention to and focus on the conversation. Because of this, it might be challenging for human note-takers to do their duties effectively when they are weary or distracted.
That's where CONVeX comes in our very own diarization model that recognizes not only what the speaker said at what time but also takes notes of the meeting.
Speaker diarization involves splitting a single audio recording into multiple tracks representing different speakers. In this way, we are able to record the contributions of each speaker and make them accessible for later research.
Besides keeping minutes during business meetings, the CONVeX is useful in areas such as audio/video/podcast management, conversational AI, observation, health, education, law enforcement, recruiting, sales enablement, speaker analysis, etc.
About Client
This client required a solution that enabled them to take automated notes conveniently during meetings and record critical business discussions. Rather than conventional solutions that feed useless data and features, he wanted functionality that employees will use for daily meeting recordings. We solved the problem by developing a diarization model for the employees to help them keep track of their meetings and for the managers to keep track of employee progress.
Challenges
The main technical challenge we encountered during the development process was the integration of three models together i.e. speech to text, diarization and text post-processing. We had to then synchronize the three on a cloud server while saving up on the cloud costs
Preparation
Ekkel AI developed a robust solution with minimum client involvement. We provided a realible solution that did not require upgrades and consistently proved its efficiency. When the solution was implemented, it satisfied all of the client's demands and offered more. The software was released within the deadlines and in-budget. As a result, they were able to easily capture meeting discussions and objectives by using CONVeX.
